Our community ranges from pre-schoolers with their parents at the two morning  Play Groups to the rather less agile attending the Sit and Be Fit aerobics class. In between are the Story Room children selected by seven local schools to widen their reading and social skills under the leadership of Liz Miller (Dreamweaver).

Older children come to Friday Club to enjoy stories, games, crafts and a two-course meal together. Others learn sewing and handcrafts or join in adult courses supported by Aurora College community education funds.

Beyond the actual building are two Day Centres set up in partnership with the Southland District Health Board to support people recovering from mental illness. There are also two Methodist Affordables shops providing quality recycled clothing for some, volunteer work experience for others and funds for all the community outreach activities.

You are invited to contact the church office at 216 0281 weekdays between 10.00 am and 1.00 pm  for further information.
